I designed a system that monitored the temperature and humidity of a Bearded Dragon Enclosure. This controlled the lights and the heating lamp, it toggled the lights at set times and maintained an optimal temperature while saving as much power as possible. I also added a mister control to the code for controlling the humidity, however, humidity was rarely a problem and it was decided that a mister could be added later.

There was a lot of set backs with this project such as the lights not working due to a clock reset and getting parts of the code to function correctly, however, I feel as a prototype it was a good result for a weekends work. In future I hope to add an automatic feeder and the mister to make the system completely automated.
